Thirteen AISC member companies earned 2026 Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) safety and workforce training awards across three categories: Erector Safety Excellence, Craft Training Excellence, and Fabricator Safety Excellence Award, a new SEAA honor this year. The awards highlight SEAA member companies that demonstrate exceptional performance in workplace safety and ironworker training.
“These awards highlight companies that are doing the work, investing in their people, refining their processes, and creating environments where crews can perform at a high level,” said Jason Farris, chair of the SEAA Safety & Education Committee. “That shows up in safety performance, but it also shows up in retention, training, and long-term success.”
Erector and Fabricator Safety Excellence Awards have three categories: world class, premier, and gold. Recipients are selected through a blind evaluation process led by the SEAA Safety & Education Committee, which uses a points-based system that includes EMR ratings, OSHA logs, citations, safety programs, and training initiatives. Craft Training Award submissions are evaluated against companies of similar size, emphasizing practical, scalable approaches to workforce development.
